Andrea Kurnat

Andrea is an educator and performer with over 15 years of experience in private instruction and a deep passion for pedagogy. Ms. A offers expert voice and piano lessons with a focus on building the whole performer—mentally, technically, and creatively. Acknowledged in an Oxford Music Kodály textbook, she has developed a reputation for blending traditional techniques with innovative approaches to music performance and education. Andrea performs with piano, voice, and guitar/ukulele as Andy in local venues in Skippack, Lederach, and Doylestown.

Ms. A has taught in a variety of Pennsylvania school settings with K-12 students of all skill levels in Lancaster, Reading, Hershey, Berks, and Bucks County, and has guided thriving students toward success both on and off the stage.Throughout her career, Andrea has mentored students who have been offered lead roles such as Matilda in Matilda and Prince Haan in PA’s 2023 high school production of Disney’s Frozen. She has also coached students who have gone on to attend college as music majors/minors, win theatre Apollo Awards, and debut original music including singles and albums on Spotify. Whether coaching students for auditions, helping refine their craft, or reignite their passion in music, Ms. A is dedicated to supporting each student’s unique journey toward becoming a confident and well-rounded person & performer. Andrea also specializes in adult lessons, directing those looking to reignite their love for singing or playing again.

By combining expertise in vocal technique and piano performance with a holistic approach to teaching scales, sight reading, and music theory, Andrea ensures that students receive a well-rounded education that nurtures both their artistry and their personal growth.
